Overview
BitEscrow is a platform designed to facilitate secure and transparent transactions in the blockchain space. Leveraging smart contract technology, the app provides a versatile solution for various types of transactions, including buying and selling NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens), over-the-counter (OTC) large token swaps, and gigs or services.
The primary challenge addressed by this app is the lack of trust and security in online transactions, especially in decentralized environments like blockchain. Traditional escrow services are often cumbersome, lack transparency, and are not well-suited for the unique nature of blockchain transactions, such as NFT trades or large-scale token exchanges. Additionally, the burgeoning gig economy within the blockchain realm lacked a reliable platform for securing payment for services.
My contribution
Developed an intuitive user interface that simplifies the transaction process, making it accessible even for those new to blockchain.
Designed clear, concise information prompts and easy-to-navigate steps, enhancing user experience and reducing potential confusion during transactions.
Collaborated with developers to integrate smart contracts that automatically handle the escrow process, ensuring security and trust in transactions.
Ensured that the smart contracts are adaptable for different types of transactions – from NFT trades to service payments.
Explored and designed new use cases for the app, extending its versatility and appeal.
Developed tokenomics for the platform, creating a sustainable business model.
